In her work with individuals and families, Dale has been certified in and utilizes a number of evidence-based modalities of counselling such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Techniques and Motivational Therapy. Her interest in working with anxiety has led her to complete a program through the Institute of Certified Anxiety Treatment Professionals, leading to certification in Clinical Anxiety Treatment (CCATP-CA). She has also done specific training in the area of managing sleep problems in people who have trauma, depression, anxiety and pain. In April 2025, Dale will complete her certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is an evidenced based psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.

Dale moved to the Okanagan with her husband and children in 2020 from a farm in Saskatchewan. She enjoys the milder temperatures, outdoor adventures, and the colourful seasons in BC. When she isn't working, you can find Dale skiing, hiking with her two Bernadoodles, boating, practicing yoga, enjoying her book club and soaking up the sun with friends and family
